Managing Configuration Check list for Effective Implementation :Part-1 for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations

Based on my experience i thought to share my knowledge or approach to have the effective implementation.So, let’s start:
We as consultant know very well that there are huge number of activities or tasks which have to be performed during implementation and one of the major activity is “Configuration”.
Now keeping the track of each and every configuration starting from CRP sessions to UAT and then to production, we encounter so many changes based on internal testing and customer feedback. This becomes the real challenge for every consultants and i also faced the similar challenge in my implementations.
“One of the incident, we configure UAT and during UAT we find oh this is missed !!! and get few customer’s feedback as well but while setting the Production most of these changes we forget to apply which leads to a fire fight after Go-Live”
So, based on my experience and how i managed this challenge, i thought to prepare the “Configuration Checklist” through which we can track all the required configurations for the implementation across both UAT and production environment.
This check list can be used for for tracking both UAT and Production box configuration check list. As, i mentioned earlier this is based on my experience in Finance modules and touching up on SCM modules but i would request each one of you to contribute to this document and feel free to add for other modules and share with me , i will definitely publish the next version, so that we can help each and every one out there in community.
