Whether you’re in the market today for a new accounting or ERP solution, or just need to do your homework and stay educated about your future options, now is the season to find an event or conference to learn more about Microsoft Dynamics GP. And chances are that an educational event may be taking place in your own backyard! Webinars and podcasts are convenient and popular –but people still gain enormous value from being face-to-face and interactive.
At The TM Group, a Michigan Microsoft Dynamics partner, we already have over 160 attendees registered for our free all-day Microsoft Dynamics Conference and Expo, called Vision 2010 taking place in Troy, Michigan, on March 23rd. This fast start to our registration is really encouraging news – we’re up over 40% from last year’s registrations and expect to close strong with more than 250 people joining us that day, including clients, strategic partners, and companies interested in planning for the future.
Certainly the buzz around Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010, Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010 – the new releases due out this spring – is helping drive attendance to Vision 2010. We’re also providing a sneak peak of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 5, due out later this year.
One of the most compelling benefits to choosing Microsoft Dynamics GP as your next accounting or ERP software solution is the tremendous breadth and depth of the Microsoft ecosystem for educational events of all stripes and sizes. Here’s a list of some of the in-person event options (some come with fees, but many do not):
- Convergence 2010, the Microsoft-sponsored Dynamics user conference, Atlanta, April 24 – 27th
- Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 Launch events – by both Microsoft and partners (coming this spring around mid-May, watch for the official GP 2010 Launch website)
- Local Seminars and Workshops – from general overview presentations to industry-specific vertical solutions
- Regional CPA Conferences with Microsoft Dynamics Sessions – check with your local CPA association
- Local Microsoft Dynamics User Group Meetings (very often open to non-users)
- Regional Microsoft Dynamics Conferences & Expos (like Vision 2010, see below ) – these tend to hosted by a select group of established Microsoft Dynamics partners on behalf of their clients, but most partners will open up to non-clients interested in learning about Dynamics
Vision 2010 is The TM Group’s 12th annual Microsoft Dynamics conference which is free of charge to our guests. Every year we are committed to spending the time, energy and resources it takes to help people get together in person for learning (we bring Microsoft product experts in to team up with our consultants), networking with their peers (our clients share their stories and advice), and gaining insight about the latest technological developments in our industry and best business practices (we bring in special speakers from our strategic business partners).
I recommend finding an event near you (bloggers, share yours!), but as an example, here are the highlights for Vision 2010, taking place in Michigan on March 23rd:
- 5 Tracks: Executive, Microsoft Dynamics GP, Microsoft Dynamics SL, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Advanced IT
