Welcome to another Tuesday tip! In the spirit of the season of giving, today's tip will focus on a positive and uplifting community skill - showing appreciation to members across the community. 👏
Whether you're an expert posting an answer, or the original author responding to requests for more detail, there are tools and best practices for maximizing successful community conversations.
Showing appreciation
There are several ways to express appreciation in the community.
- Use the 'like' button on forum or blog posts to let someone know their contributions are noticed and valued.
- Respond in the forums to let members know that their responses/answers are useful and respected. 👍
- If comments on a blog are enabled, post a comment letting the author know that their work is useful and appreciated.
- Share a forum or blog post to LinkedIn via the 'Share' button. 📢
- If you are a blog author, you can 'feature' a post to promote visibility and interaction. 🚩
- If you would like to nominate someone for the monthly 'Spotlight' honor, submit it here. 🔦
- If you are a forum moderator, you can 'pin' valuable posts to the top of a forum to ensure members are aware.
We would like to take a moment to give thanks for all of our generous, helpful, supportive community members, and wish you all a very happy holiday and a safe and healthy new year! 🥳
