In today’s post, we’re diving deeper into Advanced Finds and Views in Microsoft Dynamics 365 to help you further your understanding and use of the system. Ready? Let’s dive in!
Today, you will learn how to save your View(s) in Microsoft Dynamics 365.
Once you’ve completed the steps in the posts (linked above), you can click on “Save” in the top menu of your pop-up screen.

But – not so fast! Since we started within a System View, the “Save” button is actually greyed out because you cannot overwrite a System View.
So, what do you do?
Instead of Saving the View, click “Save As” and a pop-up will appear in the middle of your screen so that you can “Save as new View.”

For the purpose of this blog post series, we will name it “Active Accounts in Seattle.”

Once you’re happy with the View name and description, click “OK.”
Now, when you go back to the main pop-up screen, under “Use Saved View,” you will see “Active Accounts in Seattle” in your dropdown menu.
Click on it to verify the parameters you’ve set are aligned with your progress.

It will appear under “My Views.”
Next week, we will continue our journey with Advanced Finds and dive deeper so that you can improve your use of this awesome Microsoft Dynamics 365 capability.
