We have a customer that would like to use the iPad app. In addition, while using the app they would like to access the iPad's camera and take pictures which drop into a Notes field on the CRM form. Does anyone know if this feature is available either in the iPad app or through a 3rd Party Software?
Access to camera does not exists in CRM Tablet APP try CWR mobile app that supports access to camera.
You can check below document from CWR which indicates it has integrated camera.
The other option I would highly recommend is Resco. It is a mobile extension to Dynamics CRM. It will do exactly what you are asking. Lot's of other great mobile features as well. We use it ourselves and have helped deploy it to hundreds of users and I have yet to hear anyone say they didn't like it.
