Blocking Access to a particular Legal Entity

Hello Experts,
 
I have created a User Role and while granting access to the role, I have selected to assign privileges to a specific Legal Entity only. We have 2 LE entities in our environment
But what we have noticed is, even though we have granted access to a specific Legal Entity only (2nd LE), users can still access the 1st Legal Entity
 
Do you know how we can block users from navigating to the 1st Legal entity

    Where did assinge privileges to a specific legal entity? Was that somewhere in the UI or did you customize it?
     
    Anyway, usually you limit it on the role level here. I am afraid the user will still be able to open the legal entity even with very limited permissions. But you can give it a try.

    Yes, I have done exactly what you have showed in your screen capture above. I thought there would be a way to block users from navigating to the 1st Legal entity but I guess they will still be able to open the legal entity even with very limited permissions

    Hi,

    Users can see all the legal entities in the selection list because by default the System user role is not restricted by legal entities. You do the same for the system user role: assigning organizations. This needs to be done for all security roles assigned to the user. You might keep the DAT company for the system user role.
     
    In case you don't limit the legal entities, then users can switch to another legal entity, but will not see the menu items of the role(s) that have been restricted.
