We have the need to present one or more on-premises CRM 2015 dashboards on headless wall-mounted displays around the office.
So far, this seems to require use of a generic credential, but I'd like to avoid such if possible. Why? Some digital signage solutions can't pass the authentication, are Linux-based, etc.
Is anyone aware of a solution that will allow anonymous access to a dashboard? This would be internal in an IFD configuration.
You must have a user context to show the dashboard and so you'll need to login and it will technical require a license.
You may be better off creating an SSRS report using credentials that have access to the database directly rather than via a user context on the filtered views.
