Facing a weird issue with one of the CRM Web server. Below is the detail
1- We have a distributed setup wherein we have 2 CRM Web Servers and 2 App Servers linked to a single Database server.
2- The DB server has the reporting server and the MS CRM reports extension
3- Now the servers are linked via a single F5 URL that can send request to any of the available web server.
4- Whenever a user accesses a CRM report and if the request goes to Server 1 then the reports is not displayed. Instead below error is displayed
Reports cannot be run because the Connector for Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, a required component for reporting is not installed on the server that is running Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
5- On server 1 below error is logged into the event viewer.

6- On Server 2 the reports are working fine without any error.
My understanding seems that either the MS CRM installation is corrupted or some of the files within the installation got corrupt. Now the funniest thing is that the CRM on this server is not giving any other issue so apart from reports the rest of the CRM functionality is working perfectly. Also the issue has surfaced just recently and the reports were working fine on the server. There is no update installed on the server and both the CRM Web servers are the exact replica.

This does sound strange, as the configuration data regarding the report server is stored in the MSCRM_Config database, so both web servers should see the same data.
It might be that Server 1 has incorrectly been configured as having the reporting server role. I suggest you run CRM Deployment Manager to check the roles of each server, and also the configured ReportServer url for each organisation. It's worth running CRM Deployment Manager on each of Server 1 and Server 2 to check they display the same information (they should, as this is read from MSCRM_Config)
