I’m working with the Tax Calculation Service (Globalization Studio). I’ve created a few custom fields that I want to include in the Tax Calculation feature — in addition to the standard ones like Tax rate, Tax code, Tax group, and Is exempt.
The standard fields that are included in the model and feature out of the box are generated correctly and appear in the Sales tax group form under the Setup section.
However, when I go to Manage columns in the feature and add my own fields from the data model, those fields don’t appear anywhere in the form or underlying tables — not even in the Sales tax group setup grid.
I also derived the model mapping from the standard one, but I don’t have access to the feature’s internal mapping or to any way of linking the custom fields I added to the data sources used by the Tax Calculation Service.
Is there a supported way to make custom fields added through Manage columns appear in the Sales tax group setup or be used by the Tax Calculation Service?
