Hi Everyone,
We are currently evaluating MICR check printing from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and would like to confirm one point regarding the E‑13B MICR font.
Our understanding is that Business Central uses MICR fonts for check layouts, but we need clarification on the following:
- Is the E‑13B MICR font already available within Business Central, especially in Business Central Online?
- If not, does the font need to be purchased separately from a vendor such as TROY (or another MICR font provider)?
- If a separate purchase is required, does the font need to be installed on the PC / print server, or is there any Business Central-side setup needed?
- Has anyone implemented this with a MICR toner printer and can confirm the practical setup approach?
Any clarification from someone who has already implemented MICR check printing in BC would be very helpful.
Thank you!
