We are experiencing a performance issue with Financial Reports in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
When creating a Row Definition that contains multiple formulas (mainly simple summation formulas across several rows), the Financial Report becomes extremely slow and sometimes gets stuck while opening. In some cases, the report does not open at all.
The formulas are not complex—they are only summing values from multiple rows. However, as the number of formula rows increases, the report performance degrades significantly.
Has anyone else experienced this issue?
- Is there a known limitation on the number of formulas or formula rows in a Row Definition?
- Are there any best practices for designing Row Definitions with many calculated rows?
Thanks in advance,
sneha
