I'm a novice user of both CRM and Power BI, and I'm looking to create a dashboard that consolidates all 51 of my accounts into a single view.

Ideally, I'd like this dashboard to generate a one-page summary for each account, displaying recent activity such as opportunities, contact names, and other relevant interactions.

Is this type of dashboard possible to build in Power BI? And if so, how difficult would it be for someone at my skill level?

Yes , you can absolutely build a Power BI dashboard that consolidates all 51 accounts into a single view and shows one-page summaries for each account. Power BI is widely used for exactly this type of reporting with Dynamics 365 (CRM) data.

Connect Power BI to Dynamics 365 CRM / Dataverse

Power BI has a native connector for Dataverse (CRM data).

You can pull in tables like Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, and Activities.

Model the Data
Create relationships:
Accounts ↔ Contacts
Accounts ↔ Opportunities
Design the Dashboard

Main view: A table or card with all 51 accounts.

Drill-through or slicer: Select an account → See account-specific details.

Account page: Display KPIs like revenue, open opportunities, last activity date, key contacts, etc.

User Experience
You don’t need 51 separate pages. Instead:

Create one template page in Power BI.

Add a filter/slicer or enable drill-through.

Users select an account, and the page updates dynamically.
