Chain of Command not working

Hello, this is the first time I am encountering this issue. On my devbox, I created a COC for a form data field.
Form: PurchReqTable
Datasource: PurchReqLine
Field: ItemId

I override the lookup and modified method on the FormDataField. However, it's not executing code inside my COC. I've tried debugging by placing breakpoints, but it does not hit the breakpoints. But it does execute the standard methods on the FormDataField.

Pic1: Standard method present on the formDataField

Pic2: This is my COC

Can anyone please help why this is happening?

For context:
I override the lookup method because I want to add 2 new columns on the ItemId lookup for the creation of Purchase Requisition Lines.
I override the modified method because, I want to set values to other fields based on the ItemId.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Your code looks fine. You are confirming standard one hits so please try coc of form data field for other purchreqline fields where we don't have code already.

Based on that we can get more info. You can try event handlers at the end.

    Hi ElAdeel7,

Have you checked if your model got build correctly? Anyway, I suggest to not put your coding on the form level, but on the table. You can extend the PurchReqLine table method modifiedFieldItemId instead. This will ensure consistent code execution in case of different forms or import actions.
