Hi everyone,
I'm trying to understand a scheduling behavior in standard Business Central Manufacturing.
Whenever a production order is planned, the last routing operation always finishes exactly one hour before the due date/time of the production order line.
I've already checked the following:
- Default Safety Lead Time in Manufacturing Setup is empty.
- Safety Lead Time on the item is empty.
- The Shop Calendar is configured as a 24-hour calendar (so it is not caused by working hours).
- There are no Move Time or Wait Time values in the routing.
- This is standard scheduling without any customizations affecting production planning.
The operation ends one hour before the due date of the production order line. The operation is a outsourced operation with a 24 hour per day capacity. No capacity restrained resource.
Has anyone seen this behavior before or knows where this one-hour offset comes from in the standard application? Is there a setting or part of the scheduling logic that I'm overlooking?
We are running Business Central 28.2 (SaaS).
Any insights would be greatly appreciated.
