How to hide post button in the vendor payment journal header

Dear All,

Greetings!

I am able to hide the dropdown options “Post” and “Post and Transfer” through Security Configuration. However, I am unable to hide the main Post button itself.

There is no functional impact since the dropdown options are already hidden, but I would still like to hide the Post button for consistency in the user interface.

Could you please confirm if it is possible to hide this button through Security Configuration in D365FO? If yes, kindly share the corresponding menu item name or the appropriate security object related to this control.

Thank you for your support.

Best regards,
Yugandhar.

    Hi,

You can override the control in the security but you will be creating more trouble for yourself by doing so, as it would lock/hide the option for the security role forever.

In the Standard system, the option is hidden under some conditions (a workflow waiting for approval for the vendor payment journal)

    Hi Yugandhar,

The Post button visibility is controlled by Menu Item access.

Try disabling the below, if this dosen't hide than you need to ask your tech team.

it is not a menu item, but a Menu Button. There is difference between a menu item and Menu Button (a control)

Your suggested answer is about a menu item. The questions is not about the menu item, but about the Menu Button.
