The biggest risks are underestimating data cleanup, trying to replicate EBS customizations/processes, and poor change management. Best results come from treating it as a process re-implementation, not a lift-and-shift: simplify the COA using dimensions, limit historical data, redesign reports (often in Power BI), prototype early, and use a partner with real EBS exit experience.
