9In Dynamics ax 2012 R3, one Fixed Asset acquired on December 2016 and till December 2021 asset was depreciated the balance / net book value of that asset as on Dec 2021 is 9000 USD, after the year 2021 Asset is not deprecated, now in May 2026 user want to post Scrap Journal entry and close this asset in May 2026, when we saw the asset status it is showing as closed (we are not sure why the status is closed or user might changed the status to Closed, but still asset net book value is 9000 USD is there, now we want to close this asset, can we change the asset status from closed to open and post fixed asset scrap posting and close the asset, please suggest as per the current situation.
Please note the following points.
*Asset acquired on December 2016 and till December 2021 asset was depreciated the balance / net book value of that asset as on Dec 2021 is 9000 USD,
*Still asset is having net book value 9000 USD
*The current status of Asset is showing as Closed
now we want to close this asset, can we change the asset status from closed to open and post fixed asset scrap posting and close the asset, please suggest as per the current situation. Screenshots are added for reference.
