One of my customers has a specific requirement to receive goods without triggering work creation because they do not have an INDOCK area. Instead, they want the warehouse processes to start directly from the receiving area. The desired outcome is for the goods to be registered directly at the default receipt location configured in the warehouse.
Is there a way to achieve this? I tried deactivating work templates and location directives by setting up a query that does not match any data. However, this approach resulted in errors in the work creation history log, such as "location directive not found" or "work template not found."
They also want to avoid performing any fake PICK/PUT operations or using dummy locations after the goods are registered.
We are currently using the work creation processes 'Purchase order receiving' or 'Purchase order receiving putaway' via the mobile device menu.
Any suggestions or solutions would be highly appreciated.
