Reporting or process to review active discounts

Hello, using D365 F&O and Commerce 10.0.43 and seeking a way to review discounts. Does anyone have any info on any way to review discount codes in D365 and confirm active/inactive without opening each discount? I imagine there is a way to build a BI report for this but I was seeking an easier solution if there is one.

    Hi there,

    Thanks for your question! In Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations and Commerce, reviewing active and inactive discount codes without opening each one manually is definitely possible.

    Here are a few options:

    1. Discount List Page

      • Navigate to Retail and Commerce > Pricing and Discounts > Discounts.
      • Use the grid view and apply filters on the status column to quickly identify active/inactive discounts.

    2. Advanced Filter or Saved Views

      • Use the Advanced Filter pane to filter by Start/End Date or Status.
      • Save the view for future use to avoid repeating the setup.

    3. Workspace or Tile

      • Create a custom workspace or dashboard tile that shows only active discounts.
      • This can be done via personalization or with help from a developer.

    4. Power BI or Excel Export

      • If you prefer reporting, you can export the discount list to Excel or build a Power BI report using the RetailDiscount table.
