Hello Everyone,

I am testing an API interface to create GJ entry via Postman. However, I am testing the API for wrong values. I am passing a wrong account number for account type = Customer in the JSON.

when I tested this in Dev-1 environment it was giving proper error response messages in the postman.

However, I moved this integration in another dev environment and tested the same scenario so, in the postman I not getting any response.

kindly, please assist me on this. Is there any feature which is swallowed/Supressed the error msg dusting APL call. Or any D365 setup configuration issue?

Hi Paresh,

Can you tell us what Dynamics 365 application this question is related to? There are several different solutions in the Dynamics 365 family, like: Sales, Finance, Supply Chain Management, Project Operations, and Business Central. If you can clarify the product, we can answer the question or move it to the correct forum. For sure, your question is not about FastTrack where you initially posted your question.

PS, The attached files are at this moment not (yet) available, I don't have a clue what Dynamics 365 product your question is related to.

Hello Everyone,

Issue has been resolved. It is because of telemetry feature. After disabling it I am getting the errors in exception handling.

Hello Everyone,

It is because of telemetry feature. After disabling it I am getting the errors in exception handling. However, it is a strange behavior as I mentioned in the question it working in the particular dev environment with or without telemetry for X++ exception toggle. All other dev environments X++ exception toggle is affecting.

Path to check telemetry: System Admin > Setup > Monitoring and telemetry parameters

I think there is some setup/ feature difference. Could you please help me to investigate on this.
