How can I validate financial calculations before importing data into Dynamics 365?

I'm working with financial data that needs to be imported into Dynamics 365 and want to make sure the calculations are accurate before importing it.

What is the recommended approach for validating amounts, totals, and other calculated values before they are entered into Dynamics 365?

Are there any built-in tools, workflows, or best practices that can help with this validation process?
