Replace Shortcut Dimension 1 to Global Dimension 1

Dear experts,
 
Currently, I have mapped Employee as a dimension in Shortcut Dimension 1 in General Ledger Setup, and many entries have been posted using this dimension. Now I want to replace it with Global Dimension 1, and I want to update the same dimension values in all Customer Ledger Entries, Vendor Ledger Entries, and General Ledger Entries. In the Change Global Dimensions page, the Employee dimension is shown for selection.
 
How can I replace it properly? Please guide.

    I agree with Dhiren , Global Dimension 1 and Shortcut Dimension 1 are one and the same . if we map the global dimension 1 . system automatically sets "Shortcut Dimension 1" as Global Dimension 1 in general ledger setup .
     
    Shortcut Dimension captions will automatically change in all JV's , Journals and Transactions once you do the mapping setup in general ledger setup . 
    Due to CaptionClass Management codeunit and property the captions get dynamics and based on value in general ledger setup it becomes visibles in JVs, Journals , Transactions

    Hi,
     
    Global Dimension 1 and Shortcut Dimension 1 are the same thing. I think you are referring to Shortcut dimension 3.
     
    Anyways if you want to change Global Dimension 1,2 (Shortcut dimension 1,2 as they are same) you can follow this link - https://yzhums.com/5983/.
     
    If you want to change Shortcut dimension other than 1, 2 (because they are same as Global Dimension), you can just change it in the general ledger setup and it will replace on all the pages you have mentioned.
