Hi everyone,

We’re currently exploring how to manage investment portfolios (equities, bonds, loans, etc.) in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations beyond the standard finance capabilities.

While D365 works well for core accounting, we’re seeing gaps in areas like:

Portfolio performance across entities
Real-time market price updates
Investment lifecycle (acquisition, valuation, disposal)
Returns, risk metrics, and KPIs
Intercompany investments and funding
Consolidated reporting

Curious to know how others are handling this:

Are you using standard D365 features or custom solutions?
Any ISV tools you recommend?
How do you manage real-time data and reporting?
What limitations have you faced?
