Viewing G/L Accounts in Inventory Posting Setup

Hi:

When trying to look up G/L accounts to select in the Inventory Posting Setup window, I'm dumbfounded as to why the complete list from the Chart of Accounts doesn't appear.

Only a subset of accounts appears, for selection.

There are no filters on any of the columns.

So, how can I have a complete list when trying to select an account?

Thanks!

John

As per our understanding, you can only see a subset of accounts in the Inventory Account lookup when selecting G/L accounts. This is the solution to your query.

Please check whether the "View All Accounts on Lookup" Boolean is enabled or disabled:

    • If this Boolean is off, the system will display only a subset of accounts.

    • If this Boolean is on, the system will display all posting accounts in the Inventory Account lookup.

I hope this information provides a solution to your query

G/L accounts shown in Inventory Posting Setup are filtered to include only accounts with Account Type = Posting and not blocked for posting. Check these settings in the Chart of Accounts to ensure missing accounts appear.

    Open the Chart of Accounts.
Verify that the missing accounts are marked as "Posting" under the Account Type field and are not blocked for posting.
If changes are made, recheck the Inventory Posting Setup lookup.
