We are working on the standard Fixed Asset Roll Forward report in D365 Finance using Electronic Reporting (ER).
Our requirement is to include Department and Location, which are standard fields available on the Fixed Asset master. Since the standard ER model and format are locked (designer is greyed out), we have created a derived ER configuration and updated the Excel format and mappings accordingly.
Issue Observed
The report output shows Department and Location repeating the first asset’s values across all rows.
Asset Number and Asset Name are iterating correctly.
This indicates a record scoping / iterator issue in ER mapping or format design, not a data issue.
Any guidance on correcting the ER mapping or format design to resolve this behavior would be greatly appreciated.
