DataMart Reset in Management Reporter

Hi there!
 
I am facing issue in management reporter, when I run year end close in any legal entity, my balances in reporter goes off. To resolve that we received suggestion from MSFT to run the DataMart reset. However in PROD it's taking 70+ hours to run the reset. but it's not the case in other lower environments. there it's taking 20 hours hardly. 
 
I went to MSFT again but they wanted us to replicate the issue and we are not able to do so. 
 
I need some suggestions on how should I proceed here. we are not able to do code comparison also since database for management reporter is different than F&O.

    Could you please confirm whether the DataMart reset has completed in the Production environment? Also, what is the current integration status showing in Management Reporter?
    If the balances are still not matching, I would recommend trying to rebuild the Financial Dimension Set balances in D365 after work hours. After that, please clear the Management Reporter cache and run the report again.
    It would also be a good idea to test this approach in a lower environment first to see if it resolves the issue before applying it in Production.

    Thanks for your response.
     
    It's not running currently, once the DataMart reset is completed we can see the balances are correct.
     
    But the issue here is DataMart reset would take 70 hours in PROD and 20 hours in UAT.
     
    I am trying to find out what is there in PROD which is taking so much of time (UAT we are trying after DB refresh)

    Are you running Dynamics 365 in the cloud or on-premises? Is there a huge difference in number of transactions or are the two environment having the same transactions? If you are running in the cloud, the number of transactions are the same where the Tier 2 UAT is significantly faster, I would not accept the statement that you should reproduce the issue. Management reporter is a fully cloud hosted service which can't be configured or customized by partners or customers. 
    Then you can try to create a severe A ticket as your balances are incorrect and it takes about 3 days to refresh the data. This can be considered as a service outage.

    I totally agree with @André Arnaud de Calavon recommendation. You should open ticket with Microsoft. A DataMart reset taking 70+ hours indicates a performance issue rather than a product bug. There is a high likelihood that once the DataMart reset completes, your balances will be brought back in sync.
