I have a case in budget control statistic with this information:
- accounting currency: USD
- exchange rate USD - IDR as of 31-Oct-25: 16,614 or 0.000060190201
- Budget registered: USD 19.00
- Budget fund available - unposted actual expenditures: Yes
1. I entered the journal with trans date 31-Oct-25 for IDR 294,100.00 and I change the exchange rate to 0.000059911595 --> which converts the amount to USD 17.62 so the budget fund available should be USD 1.38 (journal is draft)
2. when I check budget control statistic, it shows actual expenditure amount 17.70 (calculated using the default exchange rate 0.000060190201 * IDR 294,100.00 ) and budget fund available USD 1.30 --> It looks like budget control statistic is using the exchange rate from the currency exchange rate setup instead of the exchange rate I entered in the general journal.
Has anyone encountered this before or knows if Budget Control Statistic always ignores manually entered exchange rates?
