I am trying to generate a user list with license assignments (Business Central Essentials/Teams Member/External Accountant, etc...)

I do not have access to the customer's M365 environment. That said, I can view their users in our Microsoft Partner Center and in Business Central. But from PartnerCenter I cannot export or generate a list with the license assignments, and in Business Central I can export the users, but I do not see the assigned license information. I've also looked at the underlying tables under configuration packages.

Is there any other way to view the users with their license assignments in either BC or in Partner Center? Please advise. Look forward to a response.

Can you check Table "User plan " Will this infromation help .

Else there is no direct provision . Or have to check for admin center API

Hello,

There is no way in BC or Partner Center to export users with their assigned BC licenses unless you have access to the customer’s Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

BC → shows users but not their license type.

Partner Center → shows subscriptions, but not a per-user license list.

The only options are:

1. Customer exports it from Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

2. You query Microsoft Graph API (needs customer consent).

That’s it — BC itself cannot display license assignments.

Hello,

Neither Business Central nor Partner Center provides a built-in way to export users with their license assignments; Business Central only shows internal user setup, and Partner Center displays licenses but lacks export functionality.

You can export from the Microsoft 365 Admin Center → Users → Active Users → Export Users, which includes license details.

Hi,

I can't find a way to view license assignments directly in Business Central because it does not store Microsoft 365 license details. Partner Center also does not provide an export option for license assignments through the UI.
If you have delegated admin rights, you can run PowerShell commands to export license details from the customer tenant.

Without tenant access, you cannot get license assignments from Business Central or Partner Center UI alone.
