I need your assistance regarding a Purchase Order (PO) approval workflow.
The workflow assignment type is configured as Managerial Hierarchy. Based on the position hierarchy, the workflow is throwing the following error:
"A reports-to position was not found for position 'XXX' using the 'Line' hierarchy type. Go to 'Positions', find position 'XXX', and set the 'Reports to' position."
However, position 'XXX' belongs to the CEO, which is the highest position in the organization. As per my understanding, the CEO does not report to any other position. Despite this, the system continues to generate the error.
Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Could you please advise on the correct way to handle workflow approvals when the approver is at the top of the organizational hierarchy?
