Is there a feature in the standard functionality of Business Central that allows configuring dimensions in such a way that, when a specific dimension is selected, a particular GL account is automatically populated in the invoice lines?

I understand that normally, when entering a GL account, a dimension can be assigned. However, in this case, managers are requesting the reverse process.

This requires customization, and you need to investigate whether it can actually be done.
For example, if you create a general line, select a dimension, and then the GL Account is automatically filled in, the Dimension on the GL Account may overwrite the one you selected initially.

As far as I know no its not possible out of the box. You could customize the system to do it.
