Customer Card - Date Created and User

I'm trying to determine when a customer was originally created in Microsoft Business Central and which user created the Customer Card.

I can see the standard customer information, but I don't see fields that indicate the original creation date or the user who created the record.

  • Is this information available in standard Business Central?
  • If so, where can I find it?
  • Are there system fields (such as SystemCreatedAt and SystemCreatedBy) that can be exposed, or does this require a customization?
  • If the information isn't stored by default, is the Change Log the recommended approach for tracking this going forward?

We're using the Business Central cloud version.

Thanks.

Yes, there are 4 audit fields available in Business Central in each table.

SystemCreatedBy $systemCreatedBy GUID 2000000002 Specifies security ID (SID) of the user that created the record.
SystemModifiedAt $systemModifiedAt DateTime 2000000003 Specifies the data and time that the record was last modified.
SystemModifiedBy $systemModifiedBy GUID 2000000004 Specifies the SID of the user that last modified the record
