Set Purchase order field based on Purchase requisition default dimension

Hi Experts,

Requirement is to set Purchase Order set field (AddressShipping) lookup value based on Purchase requisition CostCenter value.

If CostCenter=='30' set Purchase Order field (AddressShipping) to 'Eastern'

If CostCenter=='20' set Purchase Order field(AddressShipping) to 'Central'

If CostCenter=='10' set Purchase Order field(AddressShipping) to 'Western'

Whenever Purchase requisition convert to Purchase order the field(AddressShipping) set automatically based on CostCenter.

Please guide me how to start and achieve this.

Hi,

The default dimension is copied from Purchase requisition to Purchase order, you can add your code in Purchase order creation code, I think you should trace the code in order to know when to put your code, you can start from PurchAutoCreate_PurchReq class , create method.

AddressShipping custom field and has lookup value. AddressShipping available only on Purchase Order not available in Purchase requisition table.

Hi,

AddressShipping is a standard or custom field? In general, you should trace the code and see where the values (The fields that are sent from PR to PO )are set.
