Hello,

I go through the below link for BYOD and implementing the same in my Dev box:

In the "Connection string" , there is button Validate. Once I validated, it give me message like connection has been successful.

It means , is it made the connection between Azure SQL DB and D365F&O.

Is it?

thanks!

Yes that is correct. But to use specific entity you will need to publish as well.
