We are an Action Pack Subscriber and we have the 2015 Workgroup Edition of CRM 2015 on premise. We had been looking for the "Step Up" License, but were told (by MS) it does not exist, and we were then told to buy the full Server Product through Dell. We did, and we have the Volume License software in-hand/online. Problem is we need the Product Key to "Uprgade" everything we have been using in order to move forward. MS tells us that Volume Licensed Software does not NEED a Product Key as it is integrated in the download, but we are following their instructions, and it says we need to change the Product Key to being the Workgroup Edition to full Server Edition. Has anyone ever done this and if so, how? All I can think of is to put in a 90 Trial Key for the Server Edition into our operational Workgroup Edition and then attempt to upgrade using the software from Dell - hoping that everything works and actually "upgrades." We have called everyone at MS and Dynamics - all are hopeless and have never done this. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thank you!!
