Vendor Payment Description has unusual characters

Hi, in our test environment, doing vendor payments there are some strange verbiage that shows and now sure where it came from. In Production it does not show. The concern is that we did a 10.0.46 upgrade in test and noticed it during UAT but want to make sure it had nothing to do with the upgrade. I have attached a screenshot of the description showing '%6 123 I did this'

Hello, please try to check the setup under Default Description settings on General Ledger.

Go to Organization administration > Setup > Default descriptions.

Check if this settings are the same as PROD regarding Vendor Payments.

Hi @CU03101700-0,

It looks like in your test environment the Vendor Payment journal has a default description configured (e.g., “%6 123 I did this”).

The line description is only populated automatically when the lines are created from a Payment proposal. Seems these lines were added via the payment proposal, the system is picking up the text from the Default description setup and populating the Description field automatically.

Could you look into the Default Description setup to fix it? Correcting this setup will help you resolve this problem.
