Unified Dev - Pipeline build takes too much time

We had set up the project repository as azure git repo and used the atteched yaml for CI config which was made from the following default xpp-ci config: https://github.com/microsoft/Dynamics365-Xpp-Samples-Tools/blob/master/CI-CD/Pipeline-Samples/xpp-ci.yml

Compared to the classic tfvc build pipeline, our CI takes too much time (around 54 min) while the classic pipeline takes 9-14 min to build. What should i do to reduce the build time?

EDIT: As stated in the following post, our classic tfvc build pipeline uses a single solution to build the entire model, rather than "solution: **\*.sln" in the pipeline configuration:

but im still confused about how a solution with nuget.config, packages.config (and an empty F&O project which refers to our model) will compile the entire metadata. I can't open the said solution to check its contents or to check if there are any other files that should be referenced...
