Emails from workflows are not sent to user to approve

Hi,

Here is the situation we are facing to. We enabled a workflow to approve vendor payment journals 
Issue: Emails from workflows are not sent to user to approve 
The users can see the work item in the Action center, they can see it in the Employees self services BUT no email is sent through Outlook

Any idea ?

    Hi Kamel Sadak,

    Please verify whether the “Send notification in email” checkbox is enabled on the User options page.

    Also, check and confirm that you are able to send a test email from the Email parameters form.

    Thank you for the responses.
    I need to add that we have many workflows (Requisitions, time sheets, Expense reports, WriteOff) they are all sending emails - Only the vendor payment journal that is not doing it. So it is specific to one single workflow

    Hello,
     
    In this step, could you please mark also delegate and try to delegate the step to check if emails are being sent? 
    I remember I had issues with the Approve event, in another workflow, but I am not sure if it is related to a bug or misunderstanding when the approve event is fired.
    Lets first try to find the source of the issue.

    You can also ensure that an Email Template Is selected in the workflow container within the workflow engine. It's where you select the owner of the workflow and the template to use to send notifications.

    Hi,
    I found out and want to share the solution with you.
    Adding to the set up of the workflow described above.
     
    1- I needed to create an email template
    Note: Open Notepad > write %message > save the file .html format
     
     
    2 - Link the workflow to this template
