Dear team,

I have received a zip file from third party application to import the data in to D365F&O.

It's contained approx 40000 records. I need to import it in D365F&O.

The requirements is

1. During the import process ,if any data failed to import in D365F&O that I need to send back to 3rd party.

2. The process should not be stop while failed any record to import in D365F&O.

Kindly let me know the best approach to proceed.

Hi,

Use Batch Api through logic app here

Also as the records are good in number so try if you can get record either in XML or CSV as more system friendly.

ENQUEUE or DEQUEUE, shall I go with this approach?

2. Failed data needs to send back to third party - kindly elaborate please how I can achieve this.

The all-or-nothing is the part of this you will find the most challenging, it has been discussed recently and is difficult to achieve without cutomisation, depending on the data you are importing.

The general approach could be:

Logic app or Power Automate (orchestrate, unzip, convert format)

DMF (Package API, recurring integration)

Logic app or Power Automate to process and report result
