Local financial year end (30 Jun 2025) different from Group filing year end (31 Dec 2025)

My company has two year end closing month (ie local as at 30 Jun 2025 while Group as at 31 Dec 2025).  Kindly advise how to handle it in D365 Finance.

    Hi,

    Can you tell us if you need help in setting up two fiscal calendars and linking them to different legal entities, or do you need guidance with reporting or e.g., online consolidation?

    You can set up multiple fiscal calendars with different starting dates and year-end dates. They can even have different period lengths.
     
    For reporting, you can usually set date ranges not tied to fiscal calendars.

    Please elaborate and let us know what help you exactly need.
