Management Reporter Trial Balance not returning results

Management Reporter for Microsoft Dynamics ERP I am running a trial balance using a row definition to pull in all accounts but when using a reporting tree it is not pulling in accounts for all unit names defined on the tree. I have deleted the reporting unit not pulling in and re-added it and still no data

1) Issue
- Management Reporter Trial Balance does not return data for all reporting units in the reporting tree
- Some units display data correctly while others return no balances
- Recreating the reporting unit in the tree does not resolve the issue
- The row definition is configured to pull all accounts but still incomplete results are shown
- The issue is specific to certain reporting tree nodes rather than the entire report

2) Reason
- The issue is caused by filtering conditions in the reporting tree that do not match any financial data for the affected units
- Reporting tree definitions use dimension filters such as Fund ID and Property ID and if no transactions exist that match these combinations no data is returned
- A required dimension value combination may be missing or incorrect leading to empty results for specific units
- This leads to a situation where Management Reporter executes successfully but returns blank data for those units
- This can happen due to incorrect dimension ranges wildcards not matching actual data or inconsistencies in account structures across entities

3) Resolution
- Validate the Reporting Tree filters especially dimension restrictions such as Fund ID and Property ID and compare them with actual posted data
- Confirm that transactions exist in the general ledger for the exact dimension combinations defined in the reporting tree
- Temporarily remove or widen the filters in the reporting unit to check if data appears
- Use a simple report without a reporting tree to confirm that data exists for the accounts and dimensions
- Cross check account and dimension combinations directly in D365 Finance using trial balance or inquiry forms
- Ensure that the dimension format in Management Reporter matches the account structure in D365
- Review whether wildcard usage in the reporting tree (for example ???? patterns) correctly matches existing dimension values
- Rebuild the data mart if necessary to ensure all financial data is up to date
- If the issue persists export the reporting tree and validate all dimension filters systematically
