We are trying to import the sales line using the configuration package in business central but it shows wrong. but when we insert the item line manually it shows the correct MRP Excl GST field data as per the sales price list.
This happens because Configuration Packages insert data without running price calculation logic, so MRP Excl. GST is not recalculated from the Sales Price List like it is during manual entry; the fix is to enable “Validate Field = Yes” in the Sales Line configuration package (at least for Item No., Quantity, etc.) or don’t import price-related fields at all and let Business Central calculate them—this is expected behavior and confirmed by Microsoft since RapidStart skips business logic unless validation is explicitly enabled.
