Item coverage group "manual" - system still calculates requirements in net requirements

Hello community,

we have observed strange behaviour for some of our released products net requirements calculations.
We have many items with item coverage set to manual
For some of the items the system still calculates net requirements and shows requirements, coming from bom lines.
The system does not create planned orders to fulfill the demand, but why does it show the demand?

I thought that coverage settings set to manual means, that no requirement calculations happens and the net requirement screen should be empty?

Can anybody help?

Thank you for your help.

Best regards,

Benjamin

Why would this be an issue?

This is even better than what we had in previous versions as we can see the demand signal for all part numbers managed under "manual" coverage group in the net requirement screen and no planned orders.

I´ve recently learned that this is the standard behaviour for "manual".
