My scenario is as follows
1st question does Asset management work in an integrated PO/F&O environment, as documentation say it creates sub projects in F&O, and in an integrated environment projects can only be created in PO?
Scenario IC Owner/loaning company Vs borrowing company
In their current scenario the loaning company owns the FA and borrowing entity uses the asset as a project resource, they pay for repairs etc.
So i know i can potentially set the customer against the MAintenance asset as an IC customer as setting the resource as an IC resource as well,
Work orders must be done in the company where the asset exists rather then the borrowing entity.
So will yes i can raise IC invoice for costs etc i am unsure of the effects of 1 setting up a project in a service company that only needs it for work orders and how this would affect Resource down time etc as the resource for integrated environment must come from a company with PO integration turned on!
has anyone encountered or tried to setup a similiar scenario?
