    Hi partner,

Dynamics 365 provided powerful Web Api for developers to work with data.

    What is WEB API.

You could get the overview here.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/developer/common-data-service/webapi/overview?view=dynamics-ce-odata-9

    How many of them.

There are a lot of kinds of web api here, You can use them to meet almost any business need.

You could call web api for these entities to control data.

You could call web api to do these actions.

You could call web api to do these retrieves.

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/customer-engagement/web-api/functions?view=dynamics-ce-odata-9

    How to use them.

Normally in D365, we use web api to do CRUD actions on data with code, which may meet our complex and diverse requirements.

D365 also provided developers with JS method to use web api more easily in forms.

And using C# to trigger web api in server side is also supported.

    Best Regads,

    Hi,

As an example, try this URL in your browser: yourOrganization.crm4.dynamics.com/.../accounts. Don't forget to modify the URL with your organization. Then, you will see all your accounts in JSON format.
