    Hi, hope the following helps.

In addition, the functions you mentioned can be done by standard functions.

    Hello @SL-15041028-0,

In Business Central (cloud), even if you remove posting permissions from a user’s assigned permission sets, the system may still allow posting Sales Order Shipments and Invoices because of entitlements granted automatically by the license (entitlement system). These entitlements override manual restrictions and are not editable.

Hope this answer will help you!

    Regards,
    Mansi Soni

    Hi,

Entitlements in Dynamics NAV/Business Central are system-level permission grants tied to:

    • License types (e.g., Essentials vs Premium)
    • Role centers (e.g., Accountant, Sales Order Processor)
    • Default permission sets assigned by Microsoft

These entitlements are not editable via the UI and are automatically applied when a user logs in. They’re visible in the Effective Permissions page but can’t be removed unless you:

    • Override them via AL code (as shown above)
    • Use Permission Set Extensions to redefine behavior (advanced)
