COST BY SERIAL NUMBER

I want to adjust cost on 100s of items by serial number. The only way I know to do that is to do item journals but that's going to take a very long time. Does anyone know a better (faster) way to do that?

did you tried use bulk inventory adjustment options like Movement Journals, Counting Journals, or even leverage Data Management , Excel add ins, to upload cost changes in bulk

This seems a business central issue , i am not the expert for that but cant you do the item journal excel export by configuration package and import it back with your changes. I am just putting my experience of other Dynamics 365 product which can make your update faster
