Has anyone came across this case?
I enabled Master Data Management in 2 companies (Company A & B).
Different users are using 2 separate company A & B. But they want to pull the items from another company.
Therefore, I enable the master data management in both company A & B.
The item itself seems ok, however, there is strange in the extended text.
e.g.
- I copied and created a new item from the standard demo data, and name it as ABC001, in the company A.
- In the extended text, I also created ABC001.
- On the other hand, I did the same in another company (B), but the item name and extended text are BBC001.
- When the item table and extended text (header & line) are synchronized, I can find the ABC001 and BBC001 in both companies.
However, in the extended text, the system create the extended text automatically, as long as the job queue running.
