Exporting the Management reporter Tree and Row definitions

Hi,

We have a project were we need to integration Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with a budgetting software. The requirement is to export the Management reporter Tree and Row definitions in order to syncronize the statements generated in both systems.

Is there a way to export the Management reporter Tree and Row definitions?

I know that we can export the Organization Hirearchy. But we if build the MR report based on the Organization Hierarchy, how can we establish a row level security similar to the Trees, as we need to restrict the users view access based on the organization units.

Hi, Hossam,

To export the Management reporter Tree and Row definitions, you can do the following:

From the Report Designer, navigate to Company > Building Block Groups

Then choose the formats that you want to export, Reports, Row Definitions, Column Definitions, Reporting Tree Definitions, and Dimension Value Sets.
