How to get the matching location directive record via X++ code?

Hi ,
I have a buffer of workline. I want to get the matching directive record as I have added a new field to WHSLocDirTable. How can I achieve it. I dont know if the findLocation method in WHSLocationDirective class would work or not? Please help me how can I achieve it.
