Allow another user to submit timesheets on their behalf

Hi,
 
Is it possible for an end user to delegate their timesheet access to someone else. So person X wants their colleauge person Y to be able to create and submit timsheets on their behalf. Currenlty when this is required we (admins) would set the delegate for the user via Project Management and accounting > Setup > timesheets > all delegates.

    Hi,
    I disagree with idea of system admin. Anyone having access to the following permissions should be able to create a TimeSheet Delegates. 
    1.) Privilege named TSAllDelegatesMaintain (Maintain all timesheet delegates)
    2) Duty named ProjProjectTimesheetDelegatesMaintain (Maintain project timesheet delegates)
     
    #1(privilege) should be enough to maintain the delegates and it can be covered with any license.

    Sohaib is correct. Out of the box, the mentioned duty is part of the role Project Supervisor. You can add the duty to any other role you like. However, I would not recommend to give this option to all timesheet writers. It should still be managed otherwise, you lose control who can write time on behalf of what project timesheet users.

    The minimum user license requirement for the privilege and duty is Team members. Except for adding the objects to the Self-service employee, Self-service contractor or Self-service manager roles.
